I have little imagination, so most of what I do is based on "borrowing" Split Coast artist's wonderful ideas and I then go from there, often with a finished result not as clearly a "case" as it's called. This was done using multiple background stamps, Floral (one of my favorites) on bashful blue and Script on Apricot Appeal (fantastic color). I stamped the Cala Lily from Ageless Adornment on white vellum in gold EP. Then I colored the lily with the apricot appeal marker and sage green on the back. The rest is pretty easy to see. I used SU bashful blue brads and store bought white organdy for the bow. The border around the birthday greeting is also stamped (the blue) with the background stamp. I did mostly a bunch of these in the apricot and mellow moss, then tried a couple with the blue. I like how both color combos came out. This wasn't hard, and I'd seen the technique and read up on it from another card (the embossed vellum), it just took a while. Glad I decided to do about 6 of these at once.
