I am absolutely smitten by this gorgeous card by atomicbutterfly: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers I just had to CASE it. I love shadowbox effects, so this is what I came up with for it. The frame part is on double dimensionals, and the Dogwood blossoms are on single dimensionals.
I stamped the flowers in Stazon Timber Brown on cardstock vellum, colored on the back with markers. I stamped them again on white cardstock, ran the vellum image through my xyron and then adhered it over the cardstock image and cut it out with my paper snips. I adhered the microbeads over a small dab of Crystal Effects and applied yellow stickles over the top.
This is a birthday card for a dear friend's very elegant mother who loves flowering Dogwood trees.

Oh, my goodness gracious, Linda! This is absolutely gorgeous! Wonderful dimension with the embossing and the snipped main image. I'm always partial to the softness achieved with a little sponging of white around the edges and your Celery Fine Lace behind the main image adds even more softness and delicacy. Very elegant, indeed...sigh...

Linda, your card is so beautiful and elegant. I love your dimensions, colors, absolutely stunning dogwood stem, cuddlebug BG and beautifully tied ribbon and tag. Even the sponging just sets everything off perfectly. You are so talented. TFS
