This is my take on the color challenge. I did not have any gold paper, so applied golf leaf around the outside edges of the card and used some gold brads! I colored the tulips with Prisma pencils and Gamsol. The background is stamped in gold (Oh! there's some more gold...forgot about that) in Paisley BG, which looks really sharp IRL. Black ribbon finished it off. I thought this might make a nice sympathy card, but I can always make it again. Went for the birthday sentiment instead.

This is gorgeous! Great job on your watercoloring. I adore red tulips, especially when they are layered on black. Your paisley bg is very elegant, I am sure it is stunning IRL!
