...flattery, right? I CASE'D this from the Stampin' Librarian Girl's CASE (Gallery at Splitcoaststampers) of Lynn in St Louis' wonderful card (Gallery at Splitcoaststampers.
I changed the colour (I'm going through a Chocolate Chip phase at the moment), and added the little organdy bow.
I agree- it's a simple, elegant design, and I'd like to see what others can do with it!

Forgot to mention the Slit Punch to do the scalloped edge. Love this technique!

Just pop the punch all the way in on a strip of cardstock and punch. Start at one end, then make the next punch so it meets the first. Third punch meets the second, and so on.
When you get to the end, bend back the lower portion, which should snap right off like a perforation, and Bob's your uncle, you have a scalloped edge!
I used the strip that I cut off the top stamped part of this card to do the scalloped edging, so each front took 1/4 sheet of Whisper White.
You also end up with an interesting looking piece when you snap off the lower portion, it could be used on another project.
HTH!
Karen.
