This is a Campbell's Chunky soup can - took off bottom with safety opener and glued back on with birthday gift inside.I forgot to put the cording (trim) on top and bottom of can before I took the picture.

Thank you .. I put a gift card for Applebees and my dad's favorite caramels for his birthday in December. He was in the Coast Guard, so I thought he would like this stamp set. If my sister Mary is lurking here, don't give away my secret!

I love that you used a soup can. I swear, I get so stuck on one idea (fruit cups) that I never would have been able to come up with using cans of various sizes. TFS

Thanks for the idea! I had thought of doing cans before at a workshop, but the thought of using a pop-top can and taking off the BOTTOM had not occured to me! Very nice stamping and coloring by the way - I love that set. Maybe someday I'll come lurking out of the closet and post one myself!

This is an awesome idea and I love the project!
Can you please tell how you took the bottom? Did you use a regular can opener, and if so, how did you glue it back on?
Thanks for sharing.
