For the 100th Ways To Use It Challenge - It's a Great Big World ~ to find a great website and us it for our inspiration.
I found the idea for this CD Sun Catcher at this site: http://www.rubberstampsclub.com/tips/cd-pins.html
I sanded the label off of an old CD, then stamped the image on the shiny side of the cd.
Used Staedtler permanent markers, on the sanded side, to outline and add detail to image. Then used Tombow markers to color on the sanded side.
Used Dollar Store 3D floral stickers for embellishments. The center flower, covering the cd hole, is attached through the hole with a 3D dimensional to a punched 3/4 inch cs circle that is on the back of cd.
The clip used to attach the silver cord for hanging the sun catcher is called a glide clip and I think it's for window blinds?
This looks so pretty hanging in the window, but it was impossible to get a good picture there ... so I stood it against a plate holder for the picture ... TFL
