One of the earlier cards I made after we decided most of the cards we sent out would not be purchased. It is a square vellum card and on this one I chose to mount the front on top of the vellum and the inside sentiments behind the vellum. I thought the front looked very neat through the matching vellum envelope! Needless to say, I would do quite a few things differently here, including adding some more depth by inking the edges of the layers, stamping or otherwise adding some pattern to the small plain red layer, and also likely some doodling on that red layer.

I really like this card! Mixes of patterns and shapes almost always appeal to me and you have the circle in the center amongst allt he square layers and the striped and swirly layers too. ANd I like the monochromatic color scheme with the touch of metal (silver charm).
