This was soooo much fun. I colored some light modeling paste with my acrylic paint. Then, I used my brand new classy brass Finest Flourishes template and covered it with the paste -- just like frosting a cake. I ended up with a raised image that was textured. I put this image on a sheet of white cardstock that I had used Tim Holts' distressing ink - another cool technique -- and I love those colors together!!
After that, I decided to make the card close to cocoa (it matched my raised image best) that I stamped my Print Pattern bg stamp using versa mark. I matted the main image on a piece of chocolate chip and used the ticket corner punch on both pieced. Then I distressed the choc. chip cs and mounted it all on some tempting turquoise, added light blue eyelets in the corners and attached to the top 2/3rds of the card. On the bottom, I stamped Bonjour from the Carte Postale set onto some tempting turquoise using choc. chip. Then I used the ticket corner punch to round the edges. I added a bit of hand drawn lines along the edges with my cc marker. Then I put this on some choc. chip cs with ticket corners and roughed up the edges. I added some more light blue eyelets and weaved some brown ribbon through that I got from Michaels.
Man, typing too much, I think I need my own blog - hehehe
