I made this purse using a 5 1/4" x 10 1/2" piece of black cs. I scored it in the middle at 5 1/4". I used the Coluzzle to make a circle (I used whisper white for this) to fit over the top of the card which is folded in half by now (with the opening at the top). I then cut a smaller circle from the loves me decorative paper. I wanted my purse to be black & white, not brown and white so I used my black marker and made the dots on the floral piece black. The hinges to hold the ribbon on the top and the front, just under the button, I used the word window punch, did some faux stitching on them with my white gel pen. I then folded them in half and have them held in place using brads. On the top ones you want to leave some space to get your ribbon underneath. The front flap is held down with a velcro dot so really the one on the front with the silver cord is only for show. I did faux stitching around the top circle as well as the front and back of the purse. For the inside I cut 2 pieces of 5x5 whisper white CS. These go on the inside of the front on back of the purse. I also did another circle (same size as the outside decorative circle) for the inside. I used decorative paper for this as well. I need to do this to cover up the brads which the picture would have done as well but it looked more finished with the pretty paper..... Then I cut 1 piece of 5 x 10 1/4" from whisper white cs. I scored this at 5", 5 1/8" and 5 1/4". This will be the inside pages and will be held in place using your sticky strip. Now you can embellish any way you want! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
