When I read this challenge, my boys had just sat down to watch "Cars" & this song was instantly stuck in my head. The background paper is a scan of some Route 66 fabric.
The image is adhered to a piece of empty granola bar box (faux chipboard) that I cut into the road sign shape. The paper the image was stamped on is white, so after stamping/coloring the image, I used Creamy Caramel ink and a Dove Blender pen to "antique" the paper. Then I edged & lightly sponged with Tim Holtz distress ink. B&W ribbon is also sponged with the distress ink.

This is adorable! What a feel good card. Love your faux chip board- I think I have some of that! LOL

What a great way to get a background! Now I have a good use for all those fabric remnants I've been hoarding because I was going to use them for something someday....now I'll just scan them before I get rid of them! This is too cute! Thanks for sharing it.
