My first doughnut card! This card was made for the "charm" challenge. I handwrote the sentiment and used the charm to fill in the word "love".
The white paisley on red was a piece of cardstock I had left from a previous project where it didn't quite fit as I would have hoped, but it was perfect for this card. I don't know which is better: reusing every single piece of scrap you have or saving time on drying when you're working on a schedule... ;)
I first planned on gluing the little bug directly on the card, then got the idea to turn it into a doughnut card for added interest.
The white border was made by cutting the front of the card half an inch shorter than the back. I cut a strip of white cs and used my slot punch to make the scalloped edge, then my black SU! marker to doodle.

Cindy, you're still up there as one of my favourite Canadian stampers- love the detail you put in your work- especially in a time crunch like VSN! (I just did my first VSN today and appreciate your ability even more)
