I tried the shadow box card from Monday's new tech. challenge on this birthday card. I had just finished it when I saw this thread, http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...d.php?t=220277, about sending birthday cards to Shane so this is now off to Canada. These cards are vey fun and surprisingly easy! I used a Sakura stardust pen all over this but it's very hard to see. Some of the gifts and the beaver are popped up. TLF!

I love this card! I love the colors and the design and I really like the stamp set. Is there a tutorial or template to make a shadowbox card? Does it fold flat to fit in an envelope or do you just keep it open like this? Thanks for sharing this pretty card with us.

What a cute card! And I love the raised present on the 'inside' part! Love how you coloured the beaver (a Canadian symbol, by the way...hehehe.)
