I was inspired by the wonderful sample by Julia S. I decided to try covering the whole main image with two layers of UTEE and then sand it to see if I could acheive an etched glass look that way. (Check out the source of my inspiration here: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers. It didn't work. But, it does have a little bit of texture that just doesn't show in the pic. I also sanded the edges of the paper and the metal "mother" tag. This was for the Ways to Use it Challenge. (WT9 I think I need to get some reinkers because my background stamps hardly show up. The Always Artichoke strip at the bottom is stamped with the retired paisley bg and the main card is stamped with Print Pattern in Sahara Sand. It was really hard to get a good picture becuase of the poor natural light here today--it's rainy--a good day to stamp!
