You wouldn't believe how long I've struggled to finish this card considering how simple the end result is...
I did the Background challenge (WT97) and stamped as many backgrounds as I could on my card. Oh, boy... Did you know that there *is* such a thing as too much of a good thing? I'd get a little dizzy just looking at the card, which was not what I was aiming for, so I switched gears.
The color combo also just didn't do. I had attempted the Real Red/Almost Amethyst/Bashful Blue combo, but somehow, it was just too overwhelming, so out with the red, in with the navy.
Finally, since Monday's TLC challenge included doodling, I added a frame around the card, thinking I had nothing to lose at this point since the whole card seemed really blah. The frame does help in making the card seem more "finished".
I am now putting this card aside and calling it done. I'll have another look at it tomorrow morning, with rested eyes.
'Night, everyone!

That embossed label just POPS off the page! I really like it! And the way you did the ribbon...it's very different than I've ever seen, so I like that! Turned out great!!
