I was in need of some 'masculine' type 'thinking of you' and sympathy cards and wanted to try the cracked glass technique. I never have had great luck with this technique and wasn't too impressed with how these turned out either - oh well!
On these two cards, I used a new product called Crackle accents by Inkssentials. I have mixed feelings over this product - it was hard to squeeze out of the bottle and get an even coverage over the stamped flowers and then, it smeared the ink so much, that you really can't even see that I stamped french script and several flowers on the cracked paper. But, it dried with a cool crackle finish that surprised me. I tried to rub some ink over one of the cracked pieces - and didn't like how that looked so I didn't do that again! LOL!
So - these cards were a labor or love and not my favorites, but not every card can be a masterpiece, can it? Live and learn...
Thanks for taking a closer look!

The sharing of problems as well as successes can buoy the spirits of someone having the same trouble or alert them to what to avoid. The "aha, I'm not the only one" and the "OK, it's not just me after all," is quite a relief. TFS!
