the BG is a photo - printed on white cardstock - I got the idea from someone on this web site - so I look for interesting skies to photograph to use as BG's. Photography is another hobby of mine.

I started with a piece of cardstock - and after a couple tries, measured a piece 11.5 cm wide, punched the first 1 3/8 in square, then measured 1/2 cm, punched the next, and again measured 1/2 cm and punched. flipped the card to the other side, and measured and punched again. after all the punches were made, I trimmed it down. thought it might have been easier to just cut the picture into 6 squares, but I wanted the window on top. I was going to save it as a template to make more, but went ahead and made my card without making a second one. oops!
This is beautiful!!! I love the western skies from here in southwest Texas and the beautiful skies filled with big fluffy clouds in northeast Minnesota. Thanks for reminding me!!! My aunt and uncle used photgraphs as postcards; neat idea also.
