I did make this up my self. I will try my best to show you all the steps. I used a cutting system from creative memories to make the oval handle and closure. I would imagine a coluzzle cutting system would do the same thing. Both of these pieces will get glued between the the card stock and designer paper.
The main card is a piece of card stock cut 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored in the middle at 4 1/4". The score (folded part is the bottom of the purse). I then just snipped the card four times to get the shape that you see. I did the same thing with the designer paper.
The inside pocket was a rectangle 4 1/2" x 2 7/8" that was folded in half than sewn on 3 sides. Note: I also used the oval cutter to make a cut out in the top of the pocket. A circle punch would work too. I used the word window punch to make the tab pull for the pocket. If you don't want to do the sewing I know Michaels sell 1/8" sticky strip. You could cut a rectangle 2 1/4" x 2 7/8" and tape it down instead.
This card can be mailed if you fold down the handle it will fit into a medium sized envelope.
Enjoy - Sue
