This is my page for Mary Catherine's You Go Girl challenge to create a vintage page using b/w or sepia photos and grey, black, cream papers.
I started out with black, grey and cream papers. As I started working on the layout, I started pulling out more papers and ended up using all these browns. Adhered it, took my photo and THEN re-read the challenge about the greys, blacks, creams! oopsie
I cut out the brackets from some paper from Four Seasons, then stamped and sponged it. Distress the edges of the Natural's Ivory strips, then inked them. Also inked the edges of the Ivory mat on the b/w photo.
I printed Grandma Dollie, Beautiful, Generous, Strong, Kind in grey script on the photo - it barely shows. She truly is our favorite lady!
