This is my layout for the JANVSBNG challenge. We were to create a layout about a "symbol" of us and also include three facts about ourselves!
I took the "symbol" requirement literally and created an actual symbol that I think describes me. I made the huge mosaic B from pieces of cardstock. This, in addition to the kalidescope photo of one of my eyes, represents "pieces of me". I am human, I have faults, and I am made up of tiny pieces that all work together to form ME! I hope that makes sense! I used a bunch of "B's" to reinforce the idea to JUST "B" ME. The three facts about myself are found in the first sentence of my journaling! The journaling is along the outer edges of the cardstock and it reads:
Three things that I don't like about myself are that I worry too much, I can be too controlling, and I am often edgy. I have made the decision to strive to be JUST ME. I want to just be: present, still, patient, focused, alive, content, creative, flexible, relaxed, spontaneous, happy, organized, balanced, humble, grateful, positive, commited, calm, healthy, respectful, playful, loving, and enriched. Just be ME."
