I used an internet title page as inspiration for this card.
This card is put on a whisper white base. I started with a piece of old olive that is just smaller than the base. Then I cut a piece of the patterned paper a bit smaller than the old olive. I then ripped the patterned paper randomly and inked around both pieces with Night of Navy ink. I then did faux stitching with a black marker. I then cut the letters from some old olive and attaced to a piece of white with stitching and inking too. Then I added the cut out butterfly that I watercolored with summer sun with close to cocoa added to deepen the tone and some brocade blue for the ends of the wings. I accidently cut off the antenna so I decided to add wire antenna. Finally, I wanted to add some flowers to my card but I do not have any flower punches (note to self - but a flower punch!). So, I used my coluzzle and cut circles which I then made slits to be flowers. Then I sponged lighly around the flower petals to give some definition. I didn't have any matching brads so I mixed some clear ep and green pearl ex power and used versa mark to attach the power and change the color of some silver brads. I also added a few black brads.
This card took a long time but I am quite pleased with it in the end.
