This is a set of 3 tiles that I stamped using The World Over hostess stamp set. I stamped the original image in Black StazOn ink and baked the tiles in my oven at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
Then once the cooled completely, I colored the images using Fabrico markers (previously purchased from SU when they sold them). For lighter colors, I scribbled the Fabrico marker on my plastic stamp case and used my blender pen. Once they somewhat dried, I went over the colors again to make the colors more vibrant.
Once I had them completely colored (twice), I baked them again at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. After they cooled, I cut out the backing (bottom) from sheets of cork and glued it to the bottom.

Hi canadianmemories! Yes, the baking helps set the ink. Plus, using Fabrico and StazOn helps too. I have been using a coaster made with the same technique everyday for 2 years at work and the ink has never run, bled or smudged. Thanks for asking! Happy stamping!
