For yesterday's ways to use it challenge using watercolor paper. I would like to do this more, it's kind of relaxing. I grabbed some h2o paper quick at Wal-mart yesterday, it's 140 lbs but has a very, very rough texture. I think my picture turned out okay but I'm not crazy about the paper finish, it made it hard to shadow and highlight. Is that texture normal? TFL!

What a sweet card! Love those birdies. Yes, watercolor paper is much rougher than smooth cardstock. The bumps/texture hang on to the water so it won't bleed and spread the way it would on smoother paper.
