I think that our card is really a pretty one, but I would like to know what is soot stamping? Thank goodness I am not the only one that hasn't heard of it. Look forward to hearing from you. Really a great card.

run the flame of a cheap candle over your glossy cardstock, i found it easiest to hold the paper upside down and runt the candle beneath it letting the flame touch the paper make it as sooty as you want, then stamp a clean dry stamp on the soot leaving an image, careful, it smears easy. Don't touch the soot, it leaves an awful mess if you get it on your hands.:smile: you need to spray it with a fixative to seal it when you are done. I used Krylon fixative spray from the craft section at Wal Mart. HTH!
