I bought a scrapbook at the dollar store, and added pages I created to the back and front covers. Then I used self-laminating sheets to protect the covers (since they'll be used during camping). On the inside pages, I've stamped "place, date" at the top of each page, and then I have a random assortment of camping images on each page in the journal (e.g., campfire stickers, stamped images of sleeping bags and the like.). On the front cover pictured here I used a diecut pack from walmart that cost 1.99, so the whole thing was pretty cheap. The title was printed from my home computer, the font is from CK.

Hey, what a great idea!! It will also be a good way to get those photos scraped quick and easy - with date and place already to go on the page. Neat idea. Now, if we camped... we could do that too but that is not likely going to happen!!
