Made this one for the limited supplies challenge 98 which was to use fibers (I NEVER use these, so great challenge) and cross-purposed it for the LSC bonus challenge 5 which was to create a card for NICU nurses to use to give to grieving parents. This challenge really hits close to home for me because each of my sons were preemies and spent several weeks in the NICU. NICU nurses are by and large amazing people who are called to tend the sickest, most fragile of babies and their emotionally fragile parents. I will never forget what those special people did for my family.
As for the card, the Eskimo Folklore sentiment is from River City Rubberworks, which has a terrific selection of sentiments. The edges of the three layers with the sentiment are inked in Elegant Eggplant, and then the entire panel is raised on Pop Dots. I embossed the top center star with silver embossing powder, but it still didn't show up enough so I painted over it with Stardust Stickles.

Oh, I have this verse as well, and it is by far my favorite for sympathy cards. In fact, I nearly used it for the bonus challenge last week, too. This is such a beautiful sentiment, it deserves to be on the front of the card! I like your layers and stars; very pretty.
I also can relate to your feelings for the NICU nurses; my little granddaughter (now 21 months) was born 7 weeks early and I don't know what our family (especially my daughter and son-in-law) would have done without the love and support of those wonderful NICU nurses.
