This is a little different variation of my previous snowflake card. This time, for a more frosted window effect, I used the wax paper resist technique on glossy cardstock for the background and did the polished stone technique on top of that. I did the regular polished stone on top of the snowflakes after embossing them in white on the glossy cardstock. Although the scan makes them look more lavender than the background, I really used the same colors - just made them a little darker for contrast. The snowflakes were then punched out and mounted onto slightly larger Brilliant Blue squares. The words were stamped with Versamark and embossed with dark blue EP. I'm going to add some DD glitter to the snowflakes using Crystal Effects.
