I used an unusual color combination for me from the color coach: eggplant, summer sun, really rust, always artichoke. I stamped the bugs from the set on an 8.5 x 11 whisper white paper and then randomly cut it up into 11 different pieces.
The butterflies came about just they way I was hoping they would. I embossed them in black detail embossing powder on SU's lightweight vellum and then colored them in with markers. Then, I embossed the butterfly again in Irridescent Ice and then cut out. The double embossing really stabilized them and made them easy to cut out. I pop dotted them on each card.
I used the swirls from the Ladybug stamp set and embossed them with gold embossing powder.
