Alot of times I simply do not want my cardstock to be plain... and I don't want to drag out my brayer and background stamps - I just need something quick - especially when I cut 25 or so cards for a stamp camp... so I decided to pull out Microsoft Word and using the Draw toolbar menu and make my own custom designs that can be printed onto the cardstock at a moments notice! I choose to make a Black Swiss Dot pattern in Word and then I printed the pattern out on Whisper White cardstock from Stampin' Up!... The image is from Stampin' Up! - Pretty Princess stamp set and the ribbon is from Michaels Stores called Dashes,Dots and Checks... I used the dazzling diamond technique to make the image stand out... the glitter I used was from Stampin' Up! called dazzling diamonds.
I put together a quick tutorial on how to use Microsoft Word to make custom patterned papers that you can print on your cardstock.
