Last week I was suffering from a loss of mojo and my good friend Jen (Cobrielle) told me to case this card Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
but in black and white.
Yesterday, the challenge was to make a card with your least liked set. Well, polka dot posies is mine, I had to have it and it has sat on my shelf ever since, I just can't use it, or come up with anything that hasn't been done already.
So this is what I came up with. My under-used embellishments are definitely eyelets, I prefer brads, and my black and white gingham, I always use grosgrain. I also used all my under-used punches, word window, round scallop and small round, I had to have the scallop punches and I find them really hard to use! There is also a staple on there, lol!
I also hardly ever use black embossing powder, I always use black ink and clear embossing powder.
It is hard to see, but the sentiment at the bottom is a donut hole.
Sorry about the essay, lol!

I love it! I just got through making a black & white anniversary card for my daughter. You did a great job. I agree with you one of my least favorite embellishments would be eyelets. They are really hard for me to deal with. I tried using some yesterday without success.
Overall this card is a big success in my opinion and went into my FAVS!!

I think it's super eye-catching. It's funny you say that about the scallop punch. I'm coveting it up here in Canada and can't find it anywhere! I can find it online but no one will ship it to Canada. I might have to order it online, ship it to my in-laws in Texas and have them bring it home in the spring. TFS!
