A friend gave me five of these AOL CD holders because she just knew I could "do something crafty" with them. They're not jewel cases, they're made of a very dense pressboard and remind me of little wooden books. They aren't deep enough to use as containers, so I thought they'd make cute photo frames. The Love Matters frame has a bookplate so a label can be slipped in and out easily. It could hold a picture of a girl of any age, a couple, a baby, a pet. The frame has a matchbook style closure, held in place with the turn mounts. Lift the flap and there's a vellum pocket to slip the photo into which holds it securely in place. Exposed edges of the pressboard were colored with a marker.
Measurements for the frame are as follows: Cut 10 1/2" by 4 3/4". Score at 4 3/4" and 9 1/2".

Well, your friend was right - you did something wonderfully crafty with them! What a great idea for a photo frame, and I really like the matchbook style closure you designed - very clever AND attractive. And I love the way you used the Loves Me papers on this one. Nice photography too - a great way to show the inside and outside of both of them. Outstanding project! TFS. Linda
