Lorri Heiling provided this make & take project at our November demo swap mtg. I loved it so much, I changed it to suit the stamps I owned and made 20 of them as Christmas gifts!
The hardest part was getting photos from family & friends that I thought they would want on their ornament. Once I got the photo I wanted, I re-sized it to 1 5/8-inch square to adhere to one of the sides of the block.
I got the 2 x 2 square wood blocks at a local craft store and stained them to the color I wanted. A 9/16-inch screw eye is screwed into the top of the block, descised with Spring Moss Grosgrain Ribbon, and hung with Cranberry Crisp Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.
Of course, I signed the bottom of the block with my personalized Hand Stamped By stamp, and wrote in the year.
Very FUN to make, and everyone loved the personalized gift! THANK YOU Lorri for the AWESOME idea!
