I wanted to demonstrate the faux shaving cream technique to my stamp club and I wanted to use one of the new stamps, so this is what I came up with. There are certainly prettier cards made with the Big Blossom, but it is a great stamp to demonstrate this technique with. Ink the big blossom with the lightest color, then ink a wheel with the coordinating color. Scribble the wheel color on over the light ink on the solid stamp, then stamp onto the paper.

I agree it is a great way to demo the tech, the big bloss really shows that off. Well done. I like the script in the b/g too.

Charity, rub your inked wheel back and forth over the big blossom stamp like you're scribbling on it. You want both color of ink to show when you stamp in on the paper. Does that make sense now. If not let me know and I'll try to make it clearer. stamplaura
