I have been trying to resist the Like it a Latte set because I have the retired What's Brewin set. But I really like all the cards I'm seeing so thought I would try to get close. My breakthrough came when I found a stamp in the Sweet Shapes set that resembles the steam. So here is my card. I may still break under the pressure eventually and get the set though :-)
Thanks to BadSherry for mentioning that she uses Tulip Puffy paint for the foam. That stuff is fun. I also copied her use of copper EP to look like cinnamon. Lastly I used DebbieDesigns trick of punching out 2 scallop squares and overlapping to get the scallop rectangle.
The fancy paper is from a Christmas present that my daughter gave me. There's also linen in the background but I don't know if you can see that. Happy New Year everyone and thanks for looking!
p.s. I learned the hard way that you should cut your paper to size before adding the puffy paint :-)

This is great, love it! I also have this set and had mixed feeling about buying Like It a Latte. Thanks for the info and creating a card using a retired set!

Beautiful card! I love the background "scrap" paper and the
button! Thanks for all the tips for using puffy paint, etc. I
can't wait to get the new set and use the puffy paint for
marshmallows! It's already 2007 here in Virginia! Happy
New Year!
