Ok...here is an example of something that ends up 100% different from the way it started out. I was going to try a new technique called Pergimono (or something like that)- Check out Coberielle's gallery for more informaiton. Well...that flopped.
To start, I embossed the flowers and leaves from Best Blossoms in white on a piece of vellum. Pretty. Then, I wanted to give it some background shading, so I thought I'd try embossing the entire back of the piece with different colors of EP. Pretty again. Then....I used the "Emboss Resist" technique around the flowers and leaves. Then...tore off the edges and sponged with Creamy Caramel. Then...I was like...mmmm.....what else can I do to this??? SO, I crumpled it up. Well...the embossing came off in big chunks, and some of the paper kinda tore. That's how I got the main image. It looks very distressed, which is cool.
WOW!! THAT WAS QUITE A STORY. I hope you like my card

Wow you may have just invented an new technique here. Don't know what you'd call it though. Nice job on the card.
