I made this card at a SU stamp camp. I tweeked it a bit and walla, I love this card. I've made them in the SU stock shown and some xmas white and blue stock with snowflakes too. I love the blue ones myself. The layers are just folded pieces of paper. I felt like I was making a flying airplane, hundreds of them though. LOL.

The tree is made up of 4 square pieces of paper.
4 x 4
3 x 3
2-1/2 x 2-1/2
2 x 2
You need to fold each piece in 1/2, flaten then fold in 1/2 the other direction, flaten, fold corner to corner (diagonal), open back up, and fold the last corner to corner (diagonal). You should have several creases and you would have folded every direction.
Now.... you need to tuck in each side. If you tuck correctly, you will have a folded triangle. If you didn't fold the right way, it will look like a diamond. It happens to me all the time.
Next....with the triangle laying in front of you, take the top layer outside edge and fold it to align with the center crease. Like you do a paper airplane. Do the same for the opposite side. Finished.
Do this to all the square pieces. Make your card base, then glue the smallest finished square towards the top of your card. This is the tip of your tree. Then glue the next size and place it in the already glue down piece. Then the next and then the last.
Before you actually glue it you may want to play with the positioning to see what you like. You can make the tree short or tall. It all depends on how far you place the pieces into each other.
Cut a rectangle piece of paper and use it for a trunk and I topped it off with a star brad.
Have fun and feel free to question me. It's easier to see than to explain. I hope I did okay.
