Beautiful card. I was wondering how you do the chalk. I looked in the techniques for the colored soot...and found that, but what and when do you do the chalk???? I really need to try this.

In response to Wine4Me...
In order to do the chalk, follow the regular soot stamping technique tutorial with the following exceptions:
1. After sooting and stamping your glossy SU! cardstock (in this case various floral stamps from Heartfelt thanks), spray with MATTE Krylon Acrylic Spray, and let to dry.. this will allow the chalks to adhere without disturbing the soot.
2. Vary the intensity of the chalks.. ALL COLOR, whether bold or soft will be muted significantly by the next step.. really intense chalking amazingly transforms to a soft coloration too.
3. Spray your finished piece with GLOSSY Krylon Acrylic Spray.. this will give it a glossy photo finish.
