Colorful soot stamping done in a workshop with chalks.. gave a very soft, subtle look to the card.
Used medium pillar, held cardstock at angle to create more soot.. and then randomnly removed with various stamps.

Your colorful soot samples you submitted to SCS back in Dec. 2006 just take my breath away. So did you chalk the glossy paper and then "soot" it and then use the stamps to remove soot? I know that that is the usual order that colorful sooting is done in, but your different chalk colors seem to be so well placed it's as if you planned ahead of your chalking just where you would stamp. how did you apply the chalk to the glossy paper?
