And to think I was wondering if I could draw inspiration from my new set... I'm very pleased with both cards I've come up with so far!
I embossed the polka dots with white powder on Ruby cardstock to make it pop. I then added the flower in the hand of Li'l Beaver (never get tired of that little guy!) and stamped the paisley on my oversize corner.
My favorite part is my bottom flower, though (which is also stamped repeatedly on the orange mat under my flower-holding beaver). I wondered when I received the set if I could make a full flower out of the empty flower stamp. Well, stamp it three times, overlapping the centre every time, and you get a *perfectly full* flower. Not too many petals, not any missing... The flower is pretty uneven, but that's exactly why it's so darn cute! Looks like a doodled flower, which fits the current craze perfectly.
I also used the color spritzer tool to add some yellow speckles to the main image, and I added some dots and circles in the Os of the sentiment with a marker, to mimick the background.
Hope you enjoy! :)
