I was inspired to try the Glitter Window technique again, after learning how to do it from the Nov. VSN. This time I used my new Hero Arts poinsettia. (It comes in a set of 4.) First, I stamped the poinsettia directly on the card base, and colored it with Prismacolors and Gamsol. Then I stamped it on the patterned paper, cut the square out, then trimmed it to fit the card. I applied the packing tape to the back of the patterned paper, then spread around some Making Memories Scrapbook Shimmers in Spotlight (clear glitter) on the front.
Since the flower was on the base of the card, I couldn't add a regular mat, so I opted for two cut out strips of the brown cs to look like a mat.
I used my Stampamajig to try to shadow the greeting, but I need some more practice, as I didn't line it up very well. For the final touch, I added a 3-d looking star brad and two crystal brads.
