This is for today's sketch challenge, which is a gift card holder -- what a great challenge. I need many of these for Christmas so I was thrilled with this challenge -- thanks!!!
The top flips up to reveal a pocket for a gift card. How completely simple and perfect!!!
This is called Burnt Offerings because that is precisely what it is -- BURNT!!! When I went to emboss what I thought was going to be a beautiful white snowflake on the red paper, I found my heat gun to be totally dead -- what a bummer -- so, I've heard of people embossing over the toaster, so I tried. This snowflake is somewhat embossed, but mostly burned!!! It is only on with removable tape, so as soon as my new gun arrives I'll replace it with the white snowflake I had planned on!!!
Also, when I get the permanent snowflake put on, I will then use sticky back velcro dots under it to keep the card closed.

Toaster???...try an iron in lieu of a heat gun by holding the back of the image up to the hot iron. No burning. I don't know if that was suggested in your other comments. That aside, I think the card is great. I like your treatment of the main image. It looks great with all the other images.

Wow..........this has to be my fav. of the gift card holders. You did a great job. Maybe next year I can use this design. I made my gift card and money holders from the matchbox design.....9 of them and 4 different designs....at least that is done........TFS.....you are such an inspiration. Nancy
