This is my first Christmas decoration using Memory Glass. Have been wanting to make this since I saw Leigh O'Brien's fabulous decorations last year - but it's taken me all this time to gather the ingredients!
A couple of people have asked for directions so here they are:
The glass is 2"x2" Inkssentials Memory Glass by Ranger. I bought it online here in England but www.rangerink.com should help you to find a local stockist.
Cut two squares of cardstock to 2"x2". Decorate one piece as desired. Place glass on top and seal with Memory Foil Tape (also Ranger). If you do this well, you can leave it. Because I messed up, I dipped each edge in glue (I used Crystal Effects) and then in glitter.
Attach a piece of ribbon to the back and then cover the back with the other 2x2 piece of cardstock. Done!
If you can't get Memory Tape, you can emboss the edges to seal, but when I tried that it didn't work so well. I suppose you could also use embossing tape or double sided tape, if you could cut it to the correct width, but I haven't tried either because I've only just thought of them.
