This week's color challenge just spoke holidays to me so I tried using my fav snowflakes. Not my best work, but it's ok. Used the holiday thyme designer paper, stamped snowflakes. dots and joy on blush blossom cardstock, then crimped it. Took a color duster from Judikins and inked it in cranberry crisp then brushed, not stippled, the color over the crimped blush blossom. Like the effect I got, kind of a really light colored blush with a hint of cranberry in the paper.
The main snowflake is stamped in cranberry crisp, then rock-n-rolled in true thyme. DTP'd cranberry crisp on the blush cardstock edges, then brushed the cranberry over everything again. Ice stickles highlight the center and edges of the snowflake that's popped up on dimensionals.
