I made these gifts for my cooking class. They are filled with 1 naval orange, 1 lemon, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 vanilla bean cut in half, 1 bayleaf, whole cloves, 1 teaspoon Concerto winter traditions cinnamon spice scented sachet.

On each card it says: Cut lemon and orange into quarters; combine fruit, spices and 2 quarts water in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer as long as desired. (Add more water, if needed) Any leftover mixture can be covered and refrigerated for several days to be reused.

What a great gift for the holidays! I'm thinking this would be good to keep hot or simmering in an open crock pot too so you wouldn't have to worry about checking on it as you would when simmering on the stove. TFS!!
