I stamped the background with the pine needle stamp in almost amethyst, mello moss and bordering blue. Then stamped the trees in perfect plum. But before I stamped it I spritzed it with water (I am not sure what the technique is, if it has a name if not let's call it the spritz! because I like words with z's) So where the pines were stamped the trees didn't ink the paper because of the water I assume. Then I sponged all 4 colors to blend it. I then versamarked the entire cardstock and heated 3 layers of stamping enamel. Then used a glue pen to decorate the tree and topped with dazzling diamonds and cut the trees is 2 places. Mounted on sahara sand, perfect plum and placed on pale plum cardstock. Hope this helps, let me know if there is a name for the spritzing technique.
