KarenÂ’s Inspiration photo that we played from can be found in the link: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I used the sunflower, butterfly and deep blue background as my inspiration.
The sunflower is colored with watercolor crayons, the butterfly with assorted pad ink. The butterfly didnÂ’t have the same markings as the IC photo which I liked so I drew those in with maker making a shaky motion as if I didnÂ’t have a steady hand to make it look more natural. ItÂ’s cut out and glued to the card. I think it looks better in real life.
The flower was masked off using a post it note (stored in a folder for future use) then I did sponging in the two blues pulling away from the flower.
My slot punch tabs! I put extra scarp cardstock under the panel for dimension.
Backgrounder is stamped on the tan then sponging on the edges. Linen is stamped over the panel and solid colors in grey stamping off before doing the panel.

Hello. The black really makes a nice contrast with the blue and the big yellow sunflower. I love the little tab thingys you did also. Another great card!
