This is a Christmas present I made for my dd future father in law. It is a full sized clipboard. At the top is a watch face stuck on with a magnet. The picture can be changed and there is a large magnet on the back of the board so it can stick to a file cabinet. His name is inside the hardware.

Wow! I really like what you did with this. I was wondering how you got the pen to stay. I would love to make one of these for a friend. Any info would be great.

usmcwife, I just found these pen holder thingies... they were magnetic, but I put elmers glue on the back and just glued it to the board. Got them in Office Max in the magnet section. HTH

jtax, if you don't have any metal, just put a small hook or nail in your cubbie! This kind of clipboard has the hole in the metal clip part! I am HOPING the guy I made this for has metal.... he is a job estimator for a stainless steel fabrication plant!
Glad you all liked the clipboard. I have a couple of others in my gallery, too, totally different kinds.
