I used Japanese Maple Leaves from the front yard. They were all pressed between waxed paper and preserved that way.
I used ecru card stock and swirled a Pearlescent Ivy Brilliance Pad over it. I then used an unknown background (again with the same Brilliance) and finished it with an unknown confetti ribbon stamp.
The leaves were cut into petals (they're naturally there if you look close!!) and glued down with a mixture of Mono glue and water (about 50/50).
The center of the poinsietta is made from tiny yellow Maple Leaves. Again waxed, then using a small Maple Leaf punch...instant tiny leaves.
In the corners to give it an older look I used Glimmer Chalks...hoping it would resemble photo corners.
There's also a little chalk on the poinsietta "leaves".

Oh my, Shelley! How very clever and creative of you! I love that background too! And those little punched out (of real, I got that!) maple leaves are just too much! You're gonna have a lot of people CASEing this! TFS!
