The challenge is to create a card that looks like it could have been here ninety years ago or so. That reminds me of rooster cards although I wasnÂ’t here ninety years ago!!!
The rooster and sunflower are colored with markers and then I made sure I used solid stamps so I could stay within the forty five minute limit. I gave the vintage stain look with Tom Holtz distressing ink, distressed the edges and rubbed them in brown on both top layers. I stamped with assorted sentiments referring to time and remembering someone. Linen is stamped on the green.

That old guy should be struttin his stuff--he looks terrific--great distressing (haven't mastered that, mine still looks like the dog ate it). That sunflower wraps this up nicely--great job, Rox!

This is another super card. I love roosters and this is done so nice. I like the oval too. What a good idea. I hope you won't mind but I may have to make one up using you card as an example. Jan
