This was made by my 11 yr old son for the VSN challenge.
For the marshmallow technique, he stamped a large marshmallow in white and stamped all over blue CS. Then using a large marshmallow, "sponged" the edges of the blue w/ white ink and the white w/ celery ink (this was all his idea and very clever I thought!)
For the image, someone had sent me ONE InkyAntic image and I had started coloring it in. Aaron liked the image so well, that he drew his OWN!
He has his own ideas about stamping, and I am going to have to start caseing him! LOL!!
I am out of gamsol, so he used colored pencils and odorless (yeah right!) mineral spirits.
He saw the Rob & Bob clips I used on a trading card and I had a green that matched so he wanted to use it. Then when he tied a knot he wanted to pull the threads so it looked torn like the "brrr" he tore. (Did I say it's amazing to watch him work? I am typing as he does each thing)
The penguin is mounted with pop dots.
After he put the whole thing together, he wanted to add crystal effects to the "fishing pole" to make it look "icy".
thank you for looking,
