My first attempt at "sponging" an edge of a pic using chalks.... it ended up looking a little tie dyed...and not sure if I like it with three colors...maybe next time try only two... Also, new scanner does not like the blue paper, and turns it purple like my Vitara... I bought it late one night when it was blue....and then in the light of day ... OH MY GOSH...PURPLE... I had a purple car. While I am a fan of purple in most instances, I dont think I wanted a purple car. I called the salesman, he said it was "periwinkle"...not purple. I still take independant polls occasionally..and people say blue or purple depending on the cloud cover or time of day...(or sobriety)... anyways... the card is suppose to be blue...(and sorry for the side story....its an inherited trait from my mom...God Bless her!) :-)

I love the card and I love the story both are very cute. I had a car like once too. My DH picked it for me because he thought it was purple and he thought I would like it. It's color name was Iris but I thought it looked mettalic gray.

I LOVE this card!! And I don't think you used too many colors on your "sponging". You blended them beautifully! Love all your color choices. Nice rope-y ribbon too.
